What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a relaxing holistic therapy that is based on the principle that points on the soles, tops, and sides of the feet are connected to corresponding areas in the body.

When pressure is applied to these areas and points, it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels, which helps the body to health itself at the same time that detox and re-balance your body.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

How do I get into reflexology?

It all started a few years ago, while I watched a documentary about my favourite action movie star, Jackie Chan...
In this Documentary, Jackie chan took a journalist around Honk kong to show her this marvellous city. they visited markets, ancients shop and lastly, a Reflexology centre that Jackie chan claimed to be the best in Honk kong.
He invited her Journalist friend inside and paid for her 45 min reflexology session. After the session, they met outside, and his friend was amazed at how wonderful this treatment was. with only one detail, the whole massage was only her feet
By only working on her feet, this therapist could know how unbalanced her body was and in the end she admitted that the therapist was right in his assessment
This reflexology thing sparked my curiosity. How could this therapist know all this about the journalist by only "massaging" her feet?

I started reading books about Reflexology, watching videos and practising with some brave friends five years ago until I decided in 2018 to do my reflexology course and get my certification.

FAQ
I have ticklish feet, can I still have reflexology?
Yes, I apply firm but gentle pressure to prevent the feet from being ticklish– most clients I have treated who have worried about ticklish feet have been able to get the treatment without any problems.
Do I need to get a pedicure before Reflexology?
No, Pedicures are not needed before the reflexology session. Your feet are fine the way they are.
Is Reflexology painful?
A reflexology treatment should not be painful. It involves firm but gentle pressure applied to the feet. Some reflex points might be painful when stimulated which could indicate an imbalance in the body. if it gets painful, I just adjust the pressure.
What is the difference between Reflexology and Foot Massage?
A foot massage would be for Relaxation purposes only. Reflexology Provides relaxation and helps the body to rebalance and heal itself by improving and optimising your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
